The Legends of Bahu Trust is a heritage project funded by the John Feeney Trust that has preserved the life stories of eight pioneering members of the Bahu Trust, documenting their journeys to the UK, their experiences of migration, and their role in building one of Birmingham's longest-established Muslim community organisations. Through professionally filmed interviews, the project has created a lasting visual archive that captures memories, sacrifices and achievements that might otherwise have been lost. The films have uncovered previously untold family histories, sparked meaningful conversations between generations about identity and belonging, and celebrated the contributions of those whose dedication laid the foundations for the Bahu Trust's wide-ranging community work today. This unique collection will continue to educate and inspire future generations, ensuring these remarkable voices remain part of the community's living history.
