Radical and ground-breaking, John Feeney (1839 - 1905) personally championed the arts and heritage both in his life and death. As the founder of the Birmingham Daily Mail and the proprietor of the Birmingham Daily Post and the Birmingham Weekly Post, he demonstrated immense civic pride for the city and foresaw and supported the cultural powerhouse it continues to become. 

Nowadays, the John Feeney Charitable Trust is led by a committee of business, arts and heritage professionals who proudly continue this legacy.
