From June to September, we ran 12 Therapeutic Horticulture Sessions focusing on positive mental health and well-being. We created a Sensory Sanctuary, an area where visitors and volunteers can relax and unwind using learnt techniques to manage stress. We looked at improving our healthy eating habits through group outdoor cookery sessions using community garden-grown produce. We also ran a community event in October to coincide with our autumn harvest, welcoming Northfield residents into the sensory sanctuary with a cup of pumpkin soup!
