Who we will fund

The Trustees will give priority to organisations operating in the fields of the arts, music, heritage and open spaces.  The Trustees may also be able to consider applications from other Birmingham Charities if funds are available.

Organisations must be based in or have a working presence in the City of Birmingham.

Trustees will seek to give grants to organisations where they feel that the grant, whatever its size, will have a significant impact.

Applications will normally only be considered from those organisations who are registered charities.

Who we will not fund

Applications will not be accepted:

  • From or on behalf of individuals.
  • From organisations which do not directly benefit the Birmingham area or Birmingham charitable organisations.
  • From organisations which have political objectives.
  • From organisations which are denominational in character and seek to promote religion.

We are unlikely to fund

Applications from national charities, even with a Birmingham base, unless they are promoting a local project with its own accounts.
