 About John Feeney and the Trust

John Feeney (1839 - 1905) personally championed the arts, heritage and public open spaces both in his life and through his bequests after his death. He demonstrated immense civic pride for Birmingham and laid down a legacy which has enriched the city’s cultural life for many generations. The Trust continues to reflect his pioneering vision, while responding to and embracing the changing context for the City today and for future generations.
